Our main objective is the provision of the right care and service for all of our four-legged clients. In order for this to achieve it is of paramount importance to find the most suitable and reliable colleagues, since we all know well, that entrusting someone with our dearest friend often causes anxiety and leaves us in distrust.

Our services are carried out by professionals having many years of experience in this specific field of expertise, being dog-keepers themselves – or maybe even more than that, dogs being the centre of their everyday lives, their passion. Our goal is to convey this love and affection to your dog too.

Love and affection is one aspect though, the other being special requests by the dog owners. Be it an individual training course or discipline to be learned, behavioural anomalies to be treated or health to be preserved, our well-prepared and up-to-date colleagues will soon after having thoroughly investigated the situation work out the most suitable service.

Along with the professional content, flexibility is another very important issue. As our circle of clients comprises everything from the elderly with difficulties to move all the way to busy businesspeople or diplomats often spending weeks abroad, we try to organize our services in a flexible way regarding time, range of service and the financials.


Gárdos Péter

Péter Gárdos

Peter is responsible for Dogmopolite's general management. Following his high-school studies in Austria he moved back to Hungary after 10 years to obtain his BA in tourism and hotel management, to be followed by an MA at the Budapest Corvinus University and later the MBA at the CEU Budapest. During his career he has been general manager of many companies. Peter has working experience in Hungary, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, countries where he not only worked but also lived for longer periods of time.

Orbán Dorka
Dorka dog trainer at Dogmopolite

Dorka has kept dogs since her childhood. She obtained a diploma in Animal Welfare, then another one as a habilitation dog trainer. She is an avid participant of professional seminars and programs. Before joining Dogmopolite Dorka’s main field was the training of therapy and assisting dogs. Even before that, Dorka worked for the Rex Dog Shelter, leading courses on responsible animal keeping and rehabilitation. She organizes camps, too.

Dobos Éva
Évi dog sitter and dog walker

Évi has been a member of Dogmopolite since 2014 – her main tasks include dog walking and dog sitting. She loves dogs and will soon start her dog training career. Évi has had a German Shepherd (Jerry Lee) for 13 years, and had, in addition, a dozen cats, all of who she saved from the streets and even from death. Évi’s favourites are the large-breeds, such as the golden retriever, the Labrador and the German Shepherd.

Pelle Balázs
Balázs dog trainer

Balázs has been a dog lover since his early years, his father was a dog trainer and a dog patroller. He has kept dogs since 2010 as a pro, as the owner of a foxi mix. Balázs is a pro breeder, having raised and trained rescue, sports and therapeutic dogs. He is a dog health and behavioural specialist. Nowadays Balázs lives with three dogs. He is a pro agility and dog shepherd trainer, and has been into Frisbee since 2010. He is also a pro city dog trainer.

Ribai Réka

Réka has been a dog aficionado since her early childhood. She has attended IPO competitions regularly since she was a little girl, most and foremost with her German shepherd. In addition, Réka is a French bulldog breeder. Currently, she is the proud owner of four dogs (two German shepherds, one Belgian shepherd and a French bulldog). Réka regularly attends trainings, seminars, in order to constantly develop her skills.

Szokol Lilla
Lilla dog sitter and dog walker

Lilla has been an animal lover since her earliest days. They had dogs in her family at all times, she rescued and fostered many of them, and of course, kept some of them for good. With her first dog Lilla delved into real pro dog keeping. She did dog schools, trainings, and agility courses. Ever since, her love and passion have turned into a life form. She is actively practicing in agility, frisbee and flyball with her Border Collie.

Kovács Réka
Réka dog walker and dog sitter

Réka has been a keen learner of dog behaviour since 2010. Starting that year, she has attended dog schools regularly, where she was elected into the performing group in 2011. In that year she also obtained her diploma in animal protection, and has helped in Westie Rescue Hungary ever since. Her favourite authors are Jan Fennel, Cesar Millan and Kyra Sundance.

Batyanek Réka
Réka dog walker and dog sitter

Réka grew up in the countryside; dogs have always played an important role in her life. She has walked her own dog and that of her friends ever since she was little. She started the veterinary assistant course in September 2017 and will start the dog therapy trainer course in 2017. Réka joined our company’s dog walking team in 2016 and has ever since been a very lovely, professional and caring colleague.

Surányi Petra
Petra dog walker and dog sitter

Petra has loved dogs since her early childhood and has sitted friends’ dogs for a long time, when she met Bodza, the 8-month old little mix. Together with him she learned what responsible dog keeping is about. She started obedience training by positive reinforcement and the clicker – she still uses these today. Petra finds the spiritual, mental and physical development of dogs a must. She has walked dogs for us since 2016.

Lizicska Dóra
Dora dog walker and dog sitter

Dora has loved and been surrounded by dogs since her early childhood. In her early days Dora worked in shelters as a volunteer, and in January 2015 she adopted her first dog. They did the basic obedience training, followed by other courses for learning different tricks. Dora is nowadays rehabilitating a maltreated dog, and after being a foster owner, she will adopt him soon. Dora joined us in February 2016.

Csala Henriett
Hetti dog groomer

Hetti joined the grooming team of Dogmopolite Grooming Pest in 2015. She is endlessly devoted towards dogs; her work has been her passion ever since she started off. In the past 15 years of uninterrupted grooming Hetti has been open to all developments in the profession, and has attended seminars and trainings regularly. Hetti received her degree from the well-known Szűcs Marika, and is one of the top.

Tóth Fanni
Fanni dog groomer

Fanni has been a dog aficionado for all her life. Her grooming profession is also a hobby. Fanni got the dog groomer’s diploma in 2014. She immediately traveled to France and stayed there for a 2-year groomer’s internship. She is constantly developing: Fanni is a regular attendant of courses, seminars and pro competitions. Today, she shares her home with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Beagle.

B Tóth Sarolta
Saci dog groomer

Saci graduated as a professional dog groomer in 2007. She has a dog past spanning over 18 years, starting with the Miniature Poodle, after which she became a Boxer fanatic, a passion still lasting today. Saci’s favourites also include the Westie. She does dog sports, flyball and also dog training, as Saci was a professional dog trainer at the same time, acting as a tutor in dog schools in and around Budapest before becoming a full-time groomer. 

Katona Kinga
Kinga dog groomer

Kinga has always been crazy about dogs. For over 9 years now, she has been both a dog and cat owner, and she grooms them too, regularly. She reads professional books and publications, she deems her professional progress as extremely important. Kinga is a regular guest on dog events, exhibitions. She graduated in 2010 as a dog groomer, and has ever since developed into one of the best in our grooming team. Her favourites are the Schnauzer and the Vizsla.

Szén Terézia
Terézia dog groomer

Terézia has had dogs since her earliest childhood. She has had Airedale Terriers since 2001, and it was during their grooming that she decided she’d become a groomer too. She received her dog groomer’s diploma in January 2016, and the rehabilitation dog masseuse degree the same year. She is a supporter of guide dogs and is fostering them during the programs. Many years of seminars, experience and trainings have had Terézia to become one of the best dog groomers in Budapest.

Kenyeres Anna
Anna dog groomer

For the past ten years, Anna has prepared Kerry Blue Terriers and Pulis for exhibitions and has been a professional dog groomer for ten years as well. Anna is a keen participant in dog dancing, agility and frisbee competitions, as well as dog exhibitions. She has studied and worked in Hungary, the US and Spain. Anna loves to learn and develop, she regularly visits competitions and seminars.

Kovács Mónika
Mónika dog groomer

Mónika’s had a real admiration for dogs since her earliest age. She got her first dog with 6 and the first to be grooming regularly with 10, which was an English Cocker Spaniel. Back then she decided that she would become a groomer for living. She did the grooming school in 2008 and has become a real professional in the field. Nowadays Mónika is the proud owner of four dogs (a Yorkie and 3 Salukis).

Ternák Szilvia
Szilvia dog groomer

Szilvia simply loves animals and is the proud owner of three Bedlington Terriers. She obtained her dog groomer’s diploma in 1995 from the all-famous Marika Szűcs with excellent results. Her work is also her devotion. Szilvia is a regular attendant of the most sought-after competitions both in Hungary and abroad. Szilvia joined Dogmopolite’s Sugár Mall dog grooming salon in 2018.

Dúl Klaudia
Klaudia dog groomer

Klaudia has been a huge animal fan since her early childhood and decided, thus, very early on to devote her life to dogs professionally. She graduated in 2010 as a pro dog groomer and has been working as such ever since. Currently Klaudia shares her home with five Brazilian Bull Mastiffs, with whom she is a regular participant in Hungarian and international competitions. Klaudia, one of the best in Hungary, is also an avid promoter of animal welfare.
